They claim that paid members can access more opportunities like micro jobs and other rewards that are posted daily on the platform.
These micro jobs are posted by vendors on the platform who are looking to hire micro workers for small day-to-day gigs.
In my opinion, Owodaily functions more like a paid freelancing app, combined with affiliate marketing features for free users.
Is Owodaily Real or fake?
The website and app looks real, but the business model seems quite questionable.
On the app, you can start getting cashbacks deals on the homepage as soon as you register.
The cashback deals range from between 5% to 20% of item prices, which is around the standard commission rates of many affiliate deals in Nigeria.
How can you get started with Owodaily?
To get started on the Owodaily app, you have to first register an account, where you’ll be required to signify your purpose of joining the program.
There are two tiers to choose from:
- Micro jobs & bounty rewards: With this tier, you have to register as a paid member to access micro jobs and rewards on the platform
- Cashback on deals: This tier doesn’t require any payment, as any user on the platform can access these deals and make money
All you need to register on the Owodaily app is your email address (which has to be confirmed via a unique code) and your phone number.
How Can You Make Money With Owodaily?
You can make money in 3 ways on the Owodaily mobile app.
- Micro jobs & tasks: You can access paid micro jobs and tasks on the platform and get paid for delivering gigs for clients
- Bounty Rewards: You can get rewards and perks for completing quizzes, registrations, subscriptions, and other small tasks on the platform
- Cashback deals: You can buy and sell products and make commissions on each sale

How much do you need to get started on Owodaily?
To become a paid member on Owodaily, you can either subscribe to the basic membership or the Owodaily membership.
The basic membership cost 5,400 Naira, which can be purchased via a Gift card code (I wonder why this is the case, instead of using a traditional payment integration like Paystack or Flutterwave).
The Owodaily membership cost 16,200 Naira, which can be paid via a Gift Card Code.
I didn’t try to subscribe to any, as I thought it wasn’t worth paying for. I reckon that the Owodaily membership is a premium membership that allows users to earn daily income on the platform via micro jobs and bounty rewards especially.
Is Owodaily Legit or a Scam?
There is no way to know if the platform is a scam or not, as you would have to become a paid member and try out their services to decide if they are worth it.
However, I don’t think I’m convinced enough to pay for any of their membership subscription, as there are better free alternatives out there.
If I wanted to get a paid gig or micro job, I could sign up on other free and more popular freelance platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, and start working instead of paying for the same service on Owodaily.
So, in my opinion, there is no unique advantage to signing up as a paid member on Owodaily.
Positives about Owodaily
The positive about Owodaily is that you can start marketing products and earning commission as soon as you join the platform.
Also, the sign up process was a breeze, which is quite different from many other fintech platforms that demand so much information from users even before you get to access their services.
Negatives about Owodaily
In my opinion, the paid membership is overrated.
I’m not convinced to pay in order to access bounties and micro jobs, which are a dime a dozen all over the internet.
There is no unique service being offered on the Owodaily platform, and I don’t see any reason I would be interested to keep coming back to the app.
So, they need to shuffle things up and come up with more interesting offers that will make users stay and participate on the platform, which increases their chances of getting more paid members.
Should you join Owodaily?
As a free member with access to cash back deals, it might be worth trying it out to see if you can earn a cashback once in a while.
You could also use the platform as a client to hire micro workers who are looking to complete small tasks and get paid.
Tasks you could list on the platform include getting subscribers, website signups, blog comments, and even Facebook likes.
So, it’s up to you really.
